Shape the Future of Data, AI & Fraud Prevention at Spark:

We're looking for an exceptional leader to join our Accounts Receivable leadership team as our next: Operational Intelligence, Analytics & Fraud Prevention Team Lead

This is a unique opportunity to lead a specialist team at the intersection of data, commercial performance, fraud prevention, operational intelligence and emerging technology.

This is not a traditional reporting role, this role sits at the centre of some of the most exciting opportunities within Spark's Accounts Receivable function. You'll help shape how Spark uses analytics, automation, AI and emerging technology to:

Day to day you will be involved in:

Leading Spark's Operational Intelligence and Fraud Prevention capability.
Delivering operational reporting, analytics and strategic insights.
Driving AI and automation opportunities.
Supporting commercial and operational decision-making.
Identifying emerging risks, trends and opportunities.
Leading fraud prevention initiatives that protect Spark and its customers.
Coaching and developing a high-performing specialist team.
Influencing leaders through data-driven recommendations.

What experience you'll bring?

We’re looking for a technically strong, commercially minded leader who is passionate about using data, insight and emerging technology to solve real business problems. You may come from an analytics, operational intelligence, business intelligence, fraud prevention, risk management, revenue assurance or commercial insights background. You’ll bring strong analytical capability, sound commercial judgement, confidence working with data platforms and reporting tools, and the ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable recommendations. Just as importantly, you’ll be curious, collaborative and comfortable influencing stakeholders, challenging the status quo and helping others grow. You don’t need to have extensive people leadership experience, but you will need the desire, capability and credibility to lead, coach and develop a high-performing specialist team.

You’ll stand out if you have experience in:

Fraud prevention, investigations, revenue assurance, credit risk or accounts receivable.
Power BI, Snowflake, Streamlit, Microsoft Fabric or other modern analytics platforms.
AI, machine learning, predictive modelling, automation or advanced analytics.
Telecommunications, Digital Services, financial services, banking or technology environments.
Proven ability leading, mentoring or coaching technical specialists.
