WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Practice Lead in the Accounts Receivable function is a pivotal role within Spark's Enterprise Services. This position is responsible for leading and managing the Account Transactions Team, ensuring seamless daily operations, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
The Practice Lead will work closely with various stakeholders to enhance credit approval and collections processes, contributing to the overall strategic goals of the organisation.
As a Practice Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Leadership & Culture:
- Provide effective leadership, supporting craft development for a diverse team and fostering an inclusive and empowered culture with a growth mindset.
- Act as a servant leader, focusing on the personal and professional growth of team members.
- Operational Management:
- Lead day-to-day operational activities, including assessing manual credit approval referrals and managing collections-related activities.
- Continuously assess and enhance credit approval and collections processes for operational efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards and organisational policies.
- Strategic Collaboration:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organisation to address credit-related matters.
- Work closely with the Financial Assist Team Lead on upcoming business objectives.
- Process Improvement:
- Actively seek opportunities for improvement through automation, process optimisation, and upskilling initiatives.
- Support the onboarding of new products, processes, and systems within the Financial Assist team.
- Training & Development:
- Lead quality training and upskilling programmes for team members.
- Translate complex technical solutions into easily understandable language for both senior leadership and customers.
- Team Management:
- Effectively lead the team in the absence of the Financial Assist Team Lead, strategically reallocating team members to ensure optimal coverage across all functions.
WHO YOU’LL BE
As an Accounts Receivable Practice Lead you are:
· Proficient in Accounts Receivables: Adept at developing skills and proactively addressing gaps for seamless daily operations.
· Passionate about leadership - by seeking to understand by listening, and focusing on the growth of people through Blue Heart Culture & Growth Mindset
· Able to foster a collaborative team environment, working effectively with colleagues to achieve store goals and deliver exceptional customer service

· Adaptable and flexible to changes in priorities and demands.
· Decisive: Make necessary decisions in a timely fashion.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
· At least three years working in an accounts receivable role for a large NZ-based business
· At least 12 months experience in a leadership role, within an accounts receivable function
· A bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Studies, Management, or Accounting)

Salary : $65,000 -$70,000
