Mō tēnei tūranga mahi - About the Role:
As our new Brand Partner – Social Media, you’ll work as a key connector between Spark’s brand and its audiences across channels like TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook.
You’ll develop and deliver world-class social content, support major campaigns, and lead real-time reactive and always-on initiatives that build connection, culture and momentum. You’ll work closely with internal teams, creative partners and influencers to bring ideas to life in a way that’s strategic, brave and on-brand.

Ngā mahi o ia rā – Daily tasks:
- Bringing Spark’s social media strategy to life across key channels
- Delivering campaign content, real-time content and social-first storytelling
- Identifying and acting on cultural moments and trends with smart, timely social responses
- Managing relationships with creative partners, agencies, influencers and internal stakeholders
- Collaborating with the brand, product and comms teams to align messaging and tone
- Analysing performance and evolving our approach using insights and analytics
- Exploring and integrating AI tools and innovations to sharpen our content game
Tō wheako - your experience:
- You live and breathe social media – strategy, creativity, community and culture
- 5+ years' experience managing corporate or brand channels, ideally across multiple platforms
- You’re confident briefing and collaborating with agencies and creators
- You’re across paid, owned and earned social – and how they work together
- You understand how to interpret analytics and use data to inform decisions
- You’re proactive, creative, organised and tuned into what’s happening online and in culture
- Bonus: you’re curious about or confident using AI to enhance creativity and efficiency
