About the Role:
As the cross functional Finance Analyst, reporting to the Finance Partner lead, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day bookkeeping and financial operations of the business, including managing payables and receivables. Assist with month end closure with financial accounting tasks. You will also be responsible for project accounting and administration work to support project team to deliver the positive outcomes.
Day to day you will:

Payables & Receivables: suppliers’ invoices are processed accurately and payment batches created in a timely manner. Supplier queries are investigated and resolved in a timely manner. General accounting administration includes purchasing clearing account maintenance, credit card processing and statement reconciliation. Customer invoices are prepared accurately and in a timely manner. Overdue debtors’ payments are followed up and customer queries are investigated and resolved promptly. Bank statements are reconciled in a timely manner.
· Financial Accounting: Assist with month end financial accounting function including journal entries; reconciliations (including bank reconciliation); Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigations & resolving outstanding items. Assist with preparation of Profit and Loss statement and month end tasks. Prepare reports when required.
· Project Administration: Assist Finance Partners with project accounting related analysis, managing client purchase orders and invoicing process. Work with Project Owners to set up jobs and work breakdown structure on receipt of approved Gate 2/Gate 3; Load budget and variations as advised; Action purchase order requests and raising in system once approved. Coordinate receipts of open purchase orders. Maintenance of PO/BOQ trackers. Closing jobs in system on completion. Upkeep of filing systems to ensure these are up to date, accurate and accessible.
· System Improvements: Contribute to financial system design and automation process. Using data to provide financial insights and data-driven analysis to support strategic decision-making.
· Undertake and support ad hoc, other duties and projects from time to time as appropriate and requested from the business and Finance Partner Lead.

What experience you'll bring:
- Qualifications. Accounting/Finance tertiary qualification preferred. Strong computer, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint), Power BI and administrative skills;
