Spark’s Enterprise Project & Consulting teams plays a vital role in delivering technology-led transformation for some of New Zealand’s largest organisations. Behind every successful engagement is a strong operational foundation — and that’s where you come in.
As our Project & Consulting Enablement Lead, you will support the Chapter Area Lead to ensure the smooth, efficient, and future-ready operation of our national project and consulting chapters. From governance and delivery hygiene to capacity planning, tooling, and team enablement, you will be the operational force that keeps everything running at pace and scale.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in detail, thinks holistically about operations and delivery, and is passionate about enabling high-performing project and professional services teams to succeed.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the operational performance strategy across the Projects & Consulting Services domain
- Review, build and evolve delivery frameworks, governance models, and operational tooling to drive consistency, quality, and compliance
- Enable delivery excellence by ensuring the right tools, reporting, templates, and hygiene practices are in place and adopted across all teams
- Support the Tribe Lead and Chapter Area Lead in capacity management, workforce planning, and aligning team capability with demand and financial KPIs
- Drive uplift in delivery readiness, compliance, and risk management across the team
- Champion the use of AI, data and insights to inform planning, performance tracking, and continuous improvement
- Act as a key coordination point across teams to align with product, sales, and service line roadmaps
- Help embed best practice consulting and project delivery disciplines through playbooks, onboarding frameworks, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
What you will bring:
- Strong operational and governance experience within a consulting, project delivery, or professional services environment
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with a clear understanding of how operational efficiency and performance link to cost, margin, and value creation
- Excellent understanding of delivery hygiene, processes, and service operations within a technology or transformation context
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence teams without direct authority
- Skilled in using data and tools to drive performance, manage risk, and support decision-making
- Someone who connects the dots across people, tools, and processes to drive improvement
- Experience in workforce planning, resource management, or chapter operations
- Detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for enabling others to do their best work
