About the Role:
As an Automation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining automation solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability across our services. You’ll work closely with Product, Delivery, and Operations teams to automate processes, systems, and workflows.
You’ll contribute to the development of robust automation frameworks, support the rollout of automated solutions into BAU, and help drive continuous improvement across service delivery. Your work will directly impact service quality, speed to market, and customer experience.
You’ll also collaborate with the wider Engineering teams to ensure automation standards, tools, and practices are fit for purpose and aligned with the needs of our Enterprise customers.
Day to day you will be involved in:
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand existing processes, re-engineer where required, and design and build effective automation solutions
· Own and maintain existing automation solutions, proactively optimising performance, reliability, and scalability as needs evolve
· Troubleshoot automation-related issues, performing root cause analysis and driving timely, sustainable resolutions
· Contribute to the development and adoption of automation standards, frameworks, and best practices across the organisation
What experience you'll bring?
· 2+ years of hands-on experience in automation development or a related engineering role
· Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, .NET
· Experience executing and testing APIs using tools such as Postman and Curl
· Working knowledge of databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Snowflake
· Basic understanding of cloud platforms, services and AI.
· Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and ways of working
· Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, version control, and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
· A collaborative, proactive “can-do” attitude, with a strong willingness to learn and grow across different technologies and domains
