Cloud Product Manager
Location: Auckland
Salary: $120,000-$140,000 per annum
Employment type: Permanent Full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week (no overtime required)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of Spark’s Private and Public Cloud portfolios.
This role sits at the heart of Spark’s cloud growth ambitions, enabling New Zealand organisations to leverage secure, scalable, and modern cloud platforms. You will be responsible for shaping product roadmaps, driving innovation, and ensuring our cloud services align with evolving customer needs, market opportunities, and Spark’s broader capabilities and policies.
The Cloud Product Manager will:
· Own the product strategy and roadmap for Spark’s Private and Public Cloud.
· Translate customer and market insights into impactful solutions.
· Partner with technical, sales, and operational teams to deliver successful outcomes.
· Ensure products meet high standards of security, performance, and compliance.
We are looking for a Cloud Product Manager with a strong track record of delivering measurable outcomes, ideally with experience in cloud services, infrastructure, and enterprise technology.
Day to day you will be involved in:
Strategy
· Development and updates of product strategy, including market and competitor analysis, and roadmap development
· Working with other product managers to align cross-portfolio strategy and roadmap
· Leading and fostering data-driven culture, using data to validate product decisions
· Utilising learnings from experimentation to inform product development and strategy
Product Development
· Overseeing the 5D product development process from Discovery through to Determine phases, ensuring all activities are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
· Working closely with broader stakeholders to deliver products that meet customer needs and business objectives.
Portfolio Lifecycle Management
· Ensuring product profitability and return on investment, through pricing strategies and cost management.
· Regular review and update of product performance metrics, using data to inform product strategy and development decisions
What experience you'll bring?
Minimum Qualifications/experience:
- At least 3 years product management experience
- At least 3 years cloud industry experience
- Bachelor/Master of Information Systems, Business Administration or similar degree
The role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of product and proposition development processes, and a customer-centric approach. The successful candidate will have a good experience in leveraging strategic partnerships, be comfortable with complexity and a great collaborator with a growth mindset.
· Ability to identify growth opportunities within their area of focus while staying aligned with broader strategic priorities.
· Skilled at engaging and aligning stakeholders to drive collective progress and outcomes
· Experience with direct customers and sales team is a bonus to bring and uncover insights and shape direction and share roadmap
· Domain knowledge of the Cloud is advantageous.
