We’re looking for someone to establish and guide our Network Transformation Office, helping Spark shape the future of AI-powered service operations. You’ll play an important role in enabling transformation initiatives across our Network Service Operations team – embedding thoughtful governance, supporting strong collaboration, and helping deliver meaningful outcomes.
This role centres on the planning and integration of AI and automation use cases to uplift performance, support sustainability, and improve cost efficiency. You’ll work closely with Spark’s forward-thinking teams and technology partners to bring these initiatives to life.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Transformation Governance & Strategy
Design and implement a governance framework to support AI and automation initiatives

Align transformation priorities with business outcomes, enabling measurable improvements in cost and efficiency

Establish protocols to manage risk, compliance, and ethical AI use

Define and track metrics to monitor progress and value delivered
Partner & Stakeholder Management
Support meaningful engagement with Spark’s AI and automation technology partners

Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, IT, Data Science, Finance) to integrate AI solutions into workflows
-
Coordinate vendor relationships to ensure alignment and shared accountability
-
Provide clear communication and reporting to support informed executive decisions
Network Transformation Use Case Development & Implementation
Oversee identification, refinement, and prioritisation of transformation use cases

Support change management to enable successful adoption of AI solutions

Monitor progress and impact through regular review of delivery cadence and outcomes

Partner with data and engineering teams to assess data readiness and deployment needs
What you'll bring:
Proven experience in technology governance, AI enablement, or transformation delivery in telco or digital environments

Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and the role of AI in service operations

Experience managing partner relationships and vendor delivery in collaborative settings

Ability to support large-scale transformation programmes from design to delivery

Comfortable navigating governance, compliance, and risk frameworks related to AI

Inclusive leadership style with strength in stakeholder engagement across complex environments

Knowledge of regulatory, ethical, and operational considerations for AI in telecom
