About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced, smart, passionate and customer focussed Procurement Category Partner, looking to expand their career in Corporate Procurement. The Procurement Category Partner is responsible for building strong business and supplier partnerships to support Sparks strategic goals and to deliver the identified commercial outcomes. The role is required to support the business by leading in developing and delivering procurement strategies/engagements across Spark Corporate supply categories.

Day to day you will be involved in:

Establishing highly collaborative and productive relationships with internal customers and suppliers.
Implement Spark procurement process, actively managing risk, maintaining compliance and optimising value.
Define right-sized procurement strategy against briefed projects.
Lead RFX processes, contract negotiation and contract delivery.
Strategic cost reduction/avoidance projects.
Development of category strategy.

What experience you'll bring?

7+ years of demonstrated Procurement/Category Management experience.
Experienced in developing and implementing procurement strategies and delivering sustainable procurement outcomes.
MCIPS certification or equivalent learning.
Background and passion for Corporate procurement, including experience across Marketing, Sponsorship and Marketing Agency agreements.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
A strategic thinker with strong business and commercial acumen, delivering outcomes aligned with Sparks strategic goals.
Skilled in reviewing and drafting supplier agreements with an eye for detail — spotting risks, ensuring compliance organisation policies and negotiating favourable commercial positions.
You are familiar with Agile processes and confident across a diverse array of digital systems.
