Description & Requirements
We’re looking for a kick ass customer focused and results-driven Product Owner to lead a high-performing Agile squad in our Consumer and SME Marketing Tribe. You’ll set a clear 12-month delivery roadmap and drive execution for the squad that delivers real impact. A strong commercial mindset, passion for performance, and the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders will be key to your success.

- Leading squad delivery of work to achieve customer and commercial outcomes each quarter, laddering up to a full year plan
- Initially leading a squad focused on a portfolio (ie. Prepaid / Pay Monthly), working in an Agile fashion environment, driving toward targeted outcomes while also driving team engagement.
- Working closely with Brand and Marketing Chapter Area Lead and Chapter Leads to translate the 3 year strategy
- Planning a 12-month delivery roadmap which supports the Marketing strategy, ensuring its implementation achieves squad outcomes.
- Driving a performance mindset in your squad and play a lead role in performance tracking and optimisation.
- Prioritising the work the squad is committed to delivering.
- A key stakeholder for wider business engagement.
- Developing systems and processes (including capacity management) to improve squad effectiveness and efficiency.
Key to success in this role is your experience in leading marketing work that has effectively impacted customer and commercial metrics. Our ideal candidate would demonstrate:
- Marketing and/or Product Owner experience
- Commercial acumen, with the ability to balance customer value, business outcomes and ROI in prioritisation decisions.
- Squad vision (you may still be ‘on the tools’ sometimes) to step change performance.
- Prioritisation skills to optimise greatest return on effort.
- Leadership and influencing skills in our Agile environment.
- Stakeholder engagement
- Analytical skills, to track performance and to understand insights derived from a range of sources
