THE ROLE
As the Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the management and delivery of projects from concept to hand-over, partnering with stakeholders to ensure that cost, quality, and time specifications and that correct standards, policies, procedures, reporting and finance/budget management are followed. You'll leverage relationships in the Finance IT, telecommunications, Government Agencies and infrastructure industries to achieve our growth ambitions.
WHAT YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Mobile Build Project Management:
- Play a central role in the design phase of projects, providing critical input and insights.
- Develop, update, and meticulously review project programs on a weekly basis, promptly addressing any deviations.
- Proactively identify, mitigate, and minimise risks and variances from the project program.
- Ensure timely provision of work packs and essential site documents to Entelar Group's crews and subcontractors, with immediate communication of any updates.
- Rigorously uphold quality assurance processes throughout the project, avoiding last-minute compliance issues.
- Maintain an open line of communication with the design team for real-time updates on design changes, consents, and permits.
- Enforce strict compliance with statutory requirements, whether from Local Council or NZTA, and any unique customer specifications on-site.
- Conduct regular site audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and promptly report any non-conformances.
Financial Oversight and Reporting:
- Maintain vigilant control over project expenditure, accounting, costing, and billing, continuously comparing it against the allocated budget.
- Ensure Workbench, our project management system, remains meticulously maintained and up to date.
- Skillfully manage progress payments for suppliers and subcontractors.
- Efficiently handle customer claims and actively seek opportunities for cost savings.
- Promptly detect and thoroughly document any variations to the contract and cost overruns, ensuring swift notification to the Program Manager.
WHAT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED
- Communication. Outstanding communication skills in all formats, including the ability to make complex and complicated, simple and understandable.

- Organizational and administrative skills. Good organisational skills help manage time and prevent essential tasks from being overlooked.
- Computer and MS Office skills. Microsoft will be with the platform that we do business on. Robust processing and computer skills are mandatory for this role.
