Description & Requirements
- Administer and manage security systems, ensuring operational effectiveness, reliability, and security compliance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for security systems, including Gallagher, Avigilon, and Salto.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of security systems.
- Monitor the security system’s performance and conduct regular audits and maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to Spark New Zealand’s security policies and best practices. Ensuring compliance with security certifications, standards, legislative requirements, and guidelines, specifically ISO27001 and TIA 942.
- Deliver security-related projects, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Train and support system operators.
- Conduct reporting and analytics driven from security systems and manage reported incidents effectively.
· Experience with security systems such as Gallagher, Avigilon, and Salto.
· Experience with biometric security solutions is highly advantageous.
· Strong technical troubleshooting and systems administration skills.
· Previous hands-on experience as a security technician or related role.
· Knowledge of security infrastructure, best practices, and related legislative requirements.
· Understanding of security certifications and standards, specifically ISO27001 and TIA 942.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team environment.
· Experience with reporting and analytics related to security systems.
