Description & Requirements
As a Virtual Security Manager, you will be a key security resource as part of our Managed Cyber Security products. You will be the operational face of the product from our Cyber Defence Opertions area, providing end-to-end ownership, visibility of recommendations, capability and knowledge. In addition, you will perform information security analysis and presenting various continuous improvement artifacts to customers.
You will work collaboratively with other members of the CDO MSSP Sec Ops team as well as other Engineering teams and Service management teams as part of delivering the relevant aspects of our Cyber Security managed products.

· Produce management information by means of reporting (for both internal and external audiences)
· Analyse & present monthly reporting to each customer
· Periodic Threat assessments
· Working with the wider CDO MSSP SecOps team on the implementation of improvements
· Incident reviews & associated trend analysis along with our customers
· Drive, manage and maintain relevant policies, processes and standards
· Create & Maintain tracking registers of ongoing activity related to the subscribed product
· Contribute towards and own continuous improvement activities within the CDO MSSP Sec Ops team and wider
· Proven track record (2 - 5 years) in the delivery of Information Security services
· Preferred certification or experience in the Microsoft and/or CrowdStrike security products e.g. SC-200
ITIL Foundation certification or experience of working within an ITIL oriented organisation.
· Ability to qualify for and maintain NZ Government Security Clearance (Confidential Level or higher)
· Excellent security principals and controls experience
· Understanding of threat assessments, using Mitre is preferred
· Customer service orientation and approach
· Analysis and problem-solving skills
· Demonstrated risk management methodology and business impact assessment skills
· Proven track record of service management capability
· Excellent communication skills - document preparation, oral presentation, negotiation, active listening etc.
· Excellent MS Office Product Suite skills
· Proficient in the use of AI
