Description & Requirements
At Entelar Group we believe information and communications technology (ICT) in all its forms should be seamless, easy and something our customers should never have to worry about. That’s because New Zealanders being able to connect with other New Zealanders and the world is the key to keeping this country working.
From building cell sites and burying the fibre cables that connect our network safely, to ensuring IT hardware and software solutions are tested, distributed, implemented, and maintained, to even making sure our handsets work and are repaired quickly and efficiently, we cover it all. A one-stop shop providing continuous, end-to-end solutions to keep NZ connected – backed by superior service, unequalled expertise and leading technical and engineering know how.
The opportunity
We're looking for a Product Manager to turn Entelar's internal capabilities, platforms and partner technologies into commercial products that our customers want to buy — and that drive real revenue growth for the business.
You'll sit at the intersection of technology, sales and commercial strategy. You'll spot where our internal strengths can become external offerings, build the business cases, shape the go-to-market, and help our sales teams take new products to market with confidence. Where the product calls for it, you'll also roll up your sleeves and sell.
This is a role for someone who enjoys the full product lifecycle — from opportunity discovery through to commercial launch and beyond — and who wants their fingerprints on the portfolio.
What you'll be doing
• Own the product strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of externally-facing technology products.
• Identify and commercialise internal capabilities, platforms and services, turning them into scalable, market-ready offerings.
• Partner with Sales and Category Managers on positioning, pricing and go-to-market plans that win.
• Build robust business cases and validate new product opportunities with real customer input.
• Equip sales teams with the value propositions, training and solution stories they need to succeed.
• Track product performance, learn fast, and keep optimising the portfolio for revenue and customer value.
• Be the go-to subject-matter expert for your products — and where it's the right call, act as the sales lead yourself.
What you'll bring
• 2+ years in product management, ideally within telco, ICT services, SaaS or technology platforms.
• A track record of commercialising products or services — from concept through to revenue.
• Strong commercial acumen: pricing, business cases, P&L thinking, and a feel for what makes a product sell.
• Outstanding communication skills — you can make the complex simple and tell a sharp commercial story.
• Proven stakeholder management across sales, technology, operations and leadership.
• A bias for action — you get things moving and keep them moving.
Nice to have
• Experience in a sales-adjacent or customer-facing product role.
• Familiarity with New Zealand enterprise or government customers.
• Formal product management or commercial qualifications.
